Chocolate Caramel Lava Cakes

Hey there everyone! Today I'm sharing my recipe for the world's BEST chocolate caramel lava cakes. I first made this decadent dessert with my sister and it's an absolute WINNER!!! Its a flour-less dessert, as well as super east to make. It will not fail to impress.



Serving size: 4 people


Ingredients

100g Dark Chocolate

1/2 cup Butter

3 Eggs

1/3 cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

4 Tbsp Caramel


Steps

Preheat oven to 220°C/ 420°F.

Chop dark chocolate into small pieces.

Add to a bowl with butter and microwave at 30 second intervals until smooth. Set aside to cool.

In another bowl add eggs, sugar and vanilla essence. Whisk to combine.

Add chocolate mixture and mix together.

Grease 4 ramekins and fill half way with the mixture.

Add 1 Tbsp of caramel per ramekin and top with the rest of the chocolate mixture. Bake in oven 10-12 minutes, 220°C/ 420°F.

Serve with whipped cream and enjoy!
