The most delicious Mexican Queso and Shrimp

Hey there everyone! Today I'm sharing my take on this delicious Mexican queso with baby shrimp. This was truly so amazing, so ooey-gooey, and an absolute must-try.



Shrimp

Ingredients

800g Shrimp; peeled and deveined

1 tsp Paprika

1 tsp Ground Cumin

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Garlic; minced

2 Tbsp Olive Oil


Queso

Ingredients

1 White Onion; diced

2 Tomatoes; diced

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1/2 cup Mozzarella; cubed

1/2 cup White Gouda; cubed

1 cup Cheddar; grated

1/2 cup Cream Cheese


Steps

Begin by combining the shrimp, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt and garlic in a large bowl. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.

In a large pan add in the olive oil and fry the shrimp until opaque. Remove from the pan.

To the same pan add another 2 Tbsp of olive oil, onions and tomatoes. Fry 5-7 minutes.

Add the the mozzarella cheese, white gouda, grated cheddar and cream cheese to the pan and allow the cheese to melt.

Place the cooked shrimp on top of the queso and serve!
