Chinese Pork & Ginger Stir-Fry

Hey there everyone! Today I'm sharing this amazingly tender, sticky pork stir-fry. It tastes absolutely amazing, a dish so good that you'll have your family asking for more.

Serving Size: 4 people

Pork

Ingredients

500g Pork Fillet

2.5 cm Ginger Root; peeled and sliced into fine matchsticks pieces

2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce

2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp Sugar

1 tsp Chinese 5 Spice

2 Tbsp Chinese Shaoxing Wine

2 tsp Dark Soy Sauce

2 Spring Onion; pale part finely sliced; green part cut into 3cm pieces

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

2 cloves Garlic; minced

Marinade

Ingredients

2.5 cm Ginger Root; peeled and minced

1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

1 Tbsp Cornstarch

Steps

Begin by slicing the pork fillet into medium sized pieces.

Place the meat in a large bowl along with the minced ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, baking soda and cornstarch.

Combine well and set aside to marinate in the refrigerator.

To make the stir-fry sauce, add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, Chinese 5 spice, Chinese Shaoxing wine, and dark soy sauce to a separate bowl and mix.

Add olive oil to a large pan or wok and fry the ginger matchsticks, garlic and spring onions until they soften slightly.

Add in the marinated meat and fry until golden brown.

Add in the stir-fry sauce and allow it to thicken slightly before adding in the green spring onion pieces.

Serve and enjoy!
